Here’s How Don Jazzy’s Label, ‘Mavin Records’ Signs Upcoming Artiste

Respected and celebrated Nigerian music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy has revealed how his label sign new artiste.

The multifaceted Nigerian record producer, audio engineer and music executive has opened up on how talented and upcoming acts are signed to his record label, Mavin Records.

Don Jazzy disclosed this during a question and answer session via his official and verified Instagram page. A fan asked; ‘What’s the best way to be discovered by Mavin? the best way to catch your attention?’

“Showcasing yourself on your page, posting freestyles, covers, your songs it is as easy as that. It’s possible that you tag me a lot of times, you’ll have to understand that I can’t sign everybody but then you never know”, Don Jazzy answered.

Mavin Records has discovered several talented acts including his latest signee Ayra Starr, Magixx and Boy Spyce. The label which was founded on Tuesday, May 8, 2021 celebrated their 10th Anniversary on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Meanwhile; Marlian Music head, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known by his stage name, Naira Marley few weeks ago hinted of dropping his first ever studio album.

The album captioned; ‘God’s Timing’s The Best’ according to the renowned Nigerian recording artiste and energetic performer is scheduled for release on Monday, 30th May 2022 on all streaming platform.

Naira Marley on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 dropped the track-list for the impending body of work which features some of his already released tracks including ‘Coming’, ‘O’dun’ and ‘Kojosese’.

Per the track-list he shared, the 14 tracked studio album, ‘GTTB” features Mayorkun, Zinoleesky, Jada Kingdom, Lil Kesh, Mohbad, Busiswa, MHD, Chicc and Diquenza. See artwork below.
